- A stronger connection with yourself, others or the Divine
- Healing after a difficult religious experience
- A reflective practice that supports your overall well-being
People of all beliefs, traditions and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. You do not need to belong to a religious community or use a particular spiritual vocabulary.
What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a reflective relationship centered on attentive listening. A spiritual director accompanies you as you explore where meaning, connection, struggle and possibility are appearing in your life.
It is not about providing easy answers or telling you what to believe. It is an opportunity to listen more deeply to your experiences and inner wisdom.
Together with a spiritual director, you can create space to notice what is stirring within you, explore where you are finding meaning or challenge, and listen more deeply to what may be inviting your attention.
Spiritual Direction and Counseling
Spiritual direction and mental health counseling can complement one another, but they have different purposes. Counseling generally focuses on mental and emotional health, while spiritual direction focuses primarily on meaning, spiritual awareness and your relationship with what you consider sacred.
You do not need to determine which is right for you before contacting us. Our team can help you understand the options.
Support for Clergy, Leaders and Communities
We also provide consultation, education and support for clergy, congregations, professionals, leaders and teams.
Cost & Financial Support
Spiritual direction is not typically covered by health insurance. However, we do not want cost to be a barrier to receiving support. Financial assistance may be available to help reduce the cost of spiritual direction for those who need it.
Make Space for What Matters
Life can move quickly, leaving little room to pause and listen to what is happening beneath the surface.
Spiritual direction offers space to slow down, reflect and explore the questions, experiences and relationships that carry deeper meaning in your life.
You may come with a specific question, a season of uncertainty or simply a desire to feel more grounded and connected. You do not need to arrive with clear answers.
Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome to come with your questions, doubts, hopes and curiosity—and make space for what matters most.
