Body and Soul: Spiritual Resources for Times of Illness
The Body and Soul workshop offers compassionate support and vital resources for those coping with illness as well as for the family members, friends and professional caregivers who walk alongside them. Together we will explore meaningful ways to find hope and purpose amid pain and suffering, while learning how to care for oneself and others regardless of physical challenges. For both individuals facing illness and the caregivers who support them, this workshop emphasizes that caring for oneself is essential.
Each group session includes guided learning, practical tools for navigating challenging experiences and dedicated time for reflection and sharing. Themes of the Body and Soul workshop sessions include…
Session I: Introduction
Session II: The Body is the Home for the Soul
Session III: Presence and Suffering
