About Me
- GENDER: Female (She/her/hers)
- LANGUAGE: English
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. As a therapist, I believe clients do best when they feel understood, accepted, respected and active in their own treatment plans. I provide care for those experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, change of life and family issues as well as more chronic mental health issues, trauma and loss.
I received my BS degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Iowa. I have worked in the mental health field in both the public and private sectors in Davenport and Des Moines. I have specialized in providing care to adults, families and children as well as community education.
I am so pleased to work at such a dynamic center, sharing in our mission to "walk with you in your mental health journey." I am a mother, wife and grandmother who enjoys a good laugh with others or a peaceful walk in solitude. I look forward to meeting you!
