About Me

  • GENDER: Female (She/her/hers)
  • LANGUAGE: English

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in assessment and treatment with children and adolescents/young adults and their families. I assess each client's needs and strengths to determine the most appropriate and beneficial treatment approach. I incorporate play, movement, music and art to facilitate communication as needed as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, EMDR and family therapy. I conduct psychological testing to assess ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delay/Intellectual Disabilities and emotional/personality issues. I also am the Director of Clinical Services for children and adult clinical staff.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Child/Family at Wayne State University in Detroit. I have worked in a variety of child/adolescent treatment settings, such as outpatient, day hospital, long-term inpatient hospital and medical specialty clinics in a children's hospital. I have served children and families at the Center for over 20 years and am passionate about helping children/adolescents and families along this journey of life. I consult and coordinate with schools, doctors and others as needed to work as a unified team. I also enjoy teaching and providing presentations in the community to advocate for children's mental health.

I am passionate about my work with children and families, and I also love to add humor, fun and silly to our time together. Life can be serious and difficult at times, so I believe that making some time for fun is important to keep some balance. I am a mother of three children and love spending time together. I enjoy spending time outside in nature, running and biking, listening to music, reading and cheering on my children in their activities.
