Soul Space for Clergy

Soul Space for Clergy is a new group focused on creating space for clergy to nurture their personal spirituality and to support one another professionally. The group will meet on the first Thursday of the month from September 2018 through June 2019 at the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center. From 12:30 – 3 pm, the group will gather in supportive community for group spiritual direction and peer consultation about current ministry concerns. Consultation will utilize a reflective case presentation model to increase clergy insight through peer observation and feedback. |

| FACILITATOR
|
 Andrea Severson is a mental health counselor and spiritual director. Her degrees include a Master of Science in counseling from Drake University and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. She holds a certificate in spiritual direction and is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Andrea is a member of Spiritual Directors International.
