I am a Registered Medical Assistant and National Certified Medical Assistant. I work with Medical Psychiatry Providers/Doctors and assist them with medication refills and manage phone messages in Vertical Wave. I also handle messages regarding requests for records, messages regarding scheduling or referring someone for an intake and messages from the pharmacy regarding clarification on medications route or dosages.

I have a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona (AZ) 2017-2019, a Bachelor’s in Health Science (BS) 2015-2017 and an Applied Science in Medical Assistant 2013-2014 from Kaplan University now known as Global University in Urbandale, IA. I also have a Diploma in Computer programming from Vatterott College in Des Moines, IA 2001-2002. My high school diploma is from Roosevelt High School from 1998-2001. I started Working as a Registered Medical Assistant/National Certified Medical Assistant in 2015 at Family Medicine at Mercy One Clinic in Urbandale. I’ve also worked at a couple of different clinics assisting doctors with rooming patients, EKG, las draws, medication refills, giving injections and performing other clinical tasks.

Listening to patients’ concerns is one of my strengths. I do my job to the best of my knowledge by ensuring I meet their needs. I like things organized, nice and neat. I am family oriented and like to spend time with them in my spare time.
