I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and clinically trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. I work with adult (18+) individuals with a wide variety of emotional and relational issues negatively impacting daily life. My approach is guiding the unique needs of each person and collaboratively creating a plan to best support clients on their path toward hope, healing and the life of their choosing.

My clinical experience began as a substance abuse counselor at a individually owned outpatient treatment center in rural Iowa. While earning my master's degree in Social work, I provided brief mental health and substance abuse education, counseling and crisis intervention to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility. I obtained my temporary social work license in 2014 and served individuals in the community mental health setting until 2018 when I started at the Center. I am advancing my education through Simmons University and expect to obtain a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) by August 2024.

I believe in the healing power of human connection and strive to provide a compassionate space for every individual to embrace their authenticity. I am humbled by the invitation to hear the stories of the people I serve and honor the courage it takes to embark on their unique journeys. I am a wife, a human mom, and a dog mom and spend most of my free time in our backyard watching our beautiful, chaotic life unfold.
