About Me

  • GENDER: Female (She/her/hers)
  • LANGUAGE: English

I am a licensed mental health counselor providing client-centered, trauma-informed individual therapy. I take a holistic and integrative approach, allowing therapy to be flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs. I value collaboration and work with clients to build a strong counseling partnership grounded in trust and safety. Within this partnership, I believe that identifying strengths and cultivating self-compassion are essential to creating space for growth and healing. I work primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, adjustment following sudden life changes, grief and trauma. I also support clients navigating pregnancy- and birth-related concerns, including perinatal mood disorders, birth trauma, infertility, loss, surrogacy, and adoption.

I am a graduate of both The University of Iowa and Drake University and hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I began my counseling career as an intern in the training program here at Mind and Spirit Counseling Center, where I continue to practice today. Since that time, I have earned my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) and completed specialized training in trauma-informed therapeutic practices, as well as grief and loss.

We were never meant to navigate life’s challenges alone, and I believe deeply that support can make a meaningful difference. In my office, I aim to create a space that feels welcoming, calm, and safe—one where you can show up just as you are. Outside of my work at the Center, I value time spent on creative projects, reading, music, comedy, exploring nature, and being with my family.
