Individual Therapy
Support for Your Mental Health and Well-Being
Life can become overwhelming, even when you are accustomed to handling things on your own. We support adults in individual therapy through emotional challenges, relationships, health concerns, transitions and opportunities for personal growth.
Care is personalized to your needs, values and goals.

Reasons Adults Reach Out
You might be looking for support with:
- Anxiety, worry or ongoing stress
- Depression, sadness or loss of motivation
- Trauma or difficult past experiences
- Grief and loss
- Relationship or family challenges
- Life transitions and major changes
- Work stress or burnout
- Self-esteem, confidence or identity concerns
- Parenting and caregiving stress
- Emotional regulation or anger
- Chronic illness or health-related challenges
- A desire for personal growth
You do not have to know exactly what is wrong or what type of provider you need to begin.
Care Designed Around the Whole Person
Mental health is rarely shaped by just one part of life.
Your emotional health may be connected to relationships, work, family, physical health, past experiences, spirituality, identity or significant life changes.
Our approach recognizes the whole person.
Depending on what you are experiencing, your care may include individual therapy alone or additional support from other services at Mind & Spirit Counseling Center.
Your First Therapy Appointment
Your first appointment is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another.
You may talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, what you hope will change and what you would like support with.
You do not have to tell your entire story at once.
Therapy is a process, and you and your therapist can determine the pace together.
