Understanding Your Coverage Shouldn’t Stand Between You and Your Care
At Mind & Spirit Counseling Center, we believe cost or insurance status should never prevent someone from seeking mental health support.
We work with a wide range of insurance plans and will help you understand your coverage so you can focus on what matters most—getting the care you need.

Insurance We Accept
Mind & Spirit Counseling Center works with many commercial and government insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and other qualifying health plans.
Coverage varies by insurance company, individual plan, provider and type of service.
If you are unsure whether your plan covers care at Mind & Spirit Counseling Center, reach out. Our team can help you understand your options.
We’ll Help You Navigate the Process
You do not need to understand every detail before requesting an appointment.
Our team can help:
- Verify your insurance information
- Determine whether your provider and services are covered
- Submit eligible claims
- Help explain questions about your care
- Work with you when additional information is needed to process a claim
Insurance companies ultimately determine how a claim is processed and what portion of care is covered, but our team will work with you throughout the process.
What If My Insurance Doesn’t Cover Everything?
We do not want financial circumstances to prevent you from receiving mental health care.
If your insurance does not fully cover your services, or if you are uninsured or underinsured, additional financial support may be available through Mind & Spirit Counseling Center.

Before Your First Appointment
Having the following information available can help us verify your coverage:
- Your insurance card
- Name of the policyholder
- Policyholder’s date of birth
- Member or identification number
- Group number, if applicable
If you are unsure what information is needed, our team can walk you through it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to contact my insurance company before scheduling?
No. You can begin by requesting an appointment with us. However, contacting your insurance company directly can provide the most detailed information about your individual benefits, deductible and copay.
Does insurance cover therapy?
Many insurance plans include mental health benefits, but coverage varies. Your specific benefits may depend on your plan, provider and service.
Are medication management and psychological testing covered?
Many plans provide coverage for medication management and psychological services, but benefits and authorization requirements can vary. Our team can help determine what information may be needed.
What happens if an insurance claim is denied?
A denied claim does not always mean a service is not covered. Sometimes additional information or clarification is required. Our team will work with you to better understand the claim and determine possible next steps.
What if I don’t have insurance?
You can still receive care. Mind & Spirit Counseling Center is committed to making mental health services accessible regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
